✨ Kelsey's Game Plan for the Party

A little strategy goes a long way. Here's how I'd map out your night to get the most magic out of every minute.

1. Arrive at 4 PM, not 7. Your party ticket gets you in three hours early — that's bonus time for rides and characters before the crowds settle in.
2. Eat dinner before the party starts. A sit-down meal can eat an hour of your five-hour night. Grab quick service early so you can focus on the fun.
3. Hit the most popular characters first. Jack & Sally and other rare faces get very long lines — go early, or line up right before a parade.
4. Pick the second parade & later shows. The 2nd parade and late-night shows are noticeably less crowded if the kids can stay up.
5. Stake out fireworks in front of the castle. That's where the projections shine — or watch from Fantasyland for a fun 360° effect.
6. Save trick-or-treating for the last hour. Lines all but disappear near midnight, so you can sweep the candy stations quickly.
7. Dress for the heat. August–October evenings stay warm and muggy — keep costumes light and pack a just-in-case change for little ones.
