Your NCL key card is your room key, ID, and onboard charge card. The ship is cashless — charges post to your account and settle at the end. On Great Stirrup Cay, your key card is all you need ashore. Set it up in myNCL check-in.

Norwegian's private destinations

Great Stirrup Cay is NCL's Bahamas island — white-sand beaches, the resort-style Great Life Lagoon pool with swim-up bars, cabanas, ziplining, and snorkeling. The new Great Tides Waterpark (19 slides, dynamic river, cliff jumps) opens September 2026 and needs a separate paid day pass.

Big 2026 change: as of March 1, 2026, the standard onboard beverage package no longer covers drinks on the island — you'll need the island beverage package or Free at Sea Plus. Complimentary water, iced tea, and juice are still included.

Harvest Caye in Belize is NCL's second private destination on select Western Caribbean sailings — a beach, lagoon pool, wildlife sanctuary, and the launch point for mainland Belize excursions. Beverage packages have never been valid there.

NCL's complimentary youth programs are Splash Academy (ages 3–12) and Entourage (13–17), plus Guppies open play for parents with babies/toddlers (6 months–3 years).

Register on embarkation day. Late-night group sitting for ages 3–12 is available for an extra fee. Note: youth programs run fleetwide except on Norwegian Spirit.
