This guide gets you ready to make the absolute most of every minute.
The four parks
Universal Studios Florida, Islands of Adventure, the brand-new Epic Universe, and Volcano Bay water park. With a 3-Day or longer Park-to-Park ticket, you can now hop between all three dry parks — including all three Wizarding World areas — in a single day.

Skip the lines
Universal Express Pass
Express Pass is Universal's paid line-skipping option — a separate purchase on top of admission. It can be a game-changer on busy days, but it's worth understanding how it works before you buy.
Express vs. Express Unlimited — at Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure you can buy single-use or unlimited. At Epic Universe, only the standard single-use Express is offered right now (one skip per participating ride).
Hotel perk — guests at Universal's three premier hotels get Unlimited Express free at USF & IOA. Important: this perk does not extend to Epic Universe.
One per park — on a multi-day Park-to-Park ticket you need a separate Express entitlement for each park you want it in.
Not every ride — a few headliners sit outside Express (at Epic Universe, Dragon Racer's Rally is the lone hold-out). Plan those for rope drop or late evening.
Is it worth it?
Express shines on busy and peak days when standby waits climb past 60–90 minutes. On a quiet weekday it may not be necessary. Tell me your dates and I'll help you decide whether to add it.

From Butterbeer to Toadstool Cafe, the food is part of the fun — and where you stay shapes your whole trip.
Themed dining — every Epic Universe world has a standout, from Toadstool Cafe in Super Nintendo World to the Viking mead hall on Isle of Berk. In Celestial Park, Atlantic and The Blue Dragon are the two sit-down spots worth reserving ahead.
CityWalk — the entertainment district between the original parks, packed with restaurants and nightlife. No park ticket needed.
On-site hotels — premier hotels include free Unlimited Express at USF & IOA; all on-site hotels get Early Park Admission. Three new hotels sit right beside Epic Universe.
Don't miss the snacks — Butterbeer, the Pizza Fries, and the themed treats are half the experience.
Where you stay matters
A premier on-site hotel can pay for itself in free Express Pass value alone if you're visiting on busy days. Ask me which hotel fits your trip and budget best.

Comfortable broken-in shoes, breathable clothes, and a light poncho for afternoon showers and water rides.
Bring
Refillable water bottle, sunscreen, a portable charger (the app drains battery), and a small bag.
Tickets & ID
Tickets in the app, a photo ID, and a card for purchases — the resort runs largely cashless.
Don't forget
Medications, sunglasses, a hat, and height-requirement awareness if you have younger kids.
Pro tip
Rope-drop the headliners or use Early Park Admission, take a midday break during the hottest, busiest hours, then come back refreshed for the evening — the parks are magical after dark.

How many days do I need?+
Most families do well with 3–4 park days: one for Epic Universe (it easily fills a full day), one to split between Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure, and a buffer day — plus Volcano Bay if you want a water day. I'll tailor this to your group.
Can I visit all three Wizarding Worlds in one day?+
Yes — as of 2026, a 3-Day or longer Park-to-Park ticket lets you move between Epic Universe, Islands of Adventure, and Universal Studios in a single day, so Diagon Alley, Hogsmeade, and the Ministry of Magic are all reachable.
Do multi-day tickets include Epic Universe?+
3-Day and longer Park-to-Park tickets include Epic Universe, and you choose how much of your trip to spend there. Some 1-day combo tickets include only a single Epic Universe day — I'll make sure yours is set up the way you want.
What's a Power-Up Band?+
A wearable band for Super Nintendo World that tracks coins, keys, and mini-game scores as you play through Mario and Donkey Kong areas. Optional, but it's what makes the land interactive — worth it if your crew is into it.
How does parking work at Epic Universe?+
Epic Universe is about 12 minutes from the original parks with its own parking structure. On-site hotel guests can also use the complimentary resort shuttles between all parks and hotels. Prepaid self-parking runs a little cheaper than paying at the gate.
Is Express Pass ever included for free?+
Yes — staying at one of the three premier on-site hotels includes free Unlimited Express at Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure (not Epic Universe). That perk alone can offset the higher room rate on busy days.
